Members to abide by the rules as laid down by the Poultry Club of Great Britain.

  1. All birds exhibited at the show must be in a fit and healthy condition.  Birds, which are found not to be in a fit and healthy condition shall be removed to a quarantine area away from other members’ birds, and will be disqualified.

  2. All birds shall be transported in suitable containers to the show.
  3. Exhibitors shall be responsible for providing food and water for their birds.  Drinkers are available on request.
  4. No Late entries will be accepted.
  5. No entries will be accepted without payment.
  6. No Telephone entries will be accepted.
  7. No entries from children under 7 years of age will be accepted, except in the infant handling class.
  8. No birds or exhibits shall be entered in duplicate classes.
  9. No leg rings except National Poultry Club rings shall be allowed.
  10. Juveniles entering any classes other than Juvenile shall pay adult entrance fees.
  11. All entry forms shall state breed, colour and sex of all exhibits.
  12. Non-standard colours or breeds may only be exhibited in non-standard classes. (Any non-standard colours shall be disqualified from relevant breed classes.)
  13. Prior to or during judging no exhibitor shall approach the Judges.  The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
  14. During judging no birds or exhibits shall be attended to.
  15. All Classes shall stand.
  16. Rosettes shall only be awarded to classes with five or more exhibits.
  17. A member of a breed club may only be awarded breed club specials.
  18. Until the show is finished no person shall remove birds from the show.
  19. Whilst taking reasonable care, the club cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to birds, exhibits or equipment.
